The Taste of Shetland Christmas gift guide 2021 showcases the incredible range of festive-themed food and drink gifts available from our member businesses this year.

With over 100 members offering locally-produced food, drink and more, there’s a special idea available for every family member! From gin to hampers and hotels to brewers, you’ll find all the inspiration you need to celebrate Christmas with the best Shetland produce.

1. Lemon Fest Bundle: Shetland Reel

Where else to be-gin our festive gift guide than with this year’s special edition gin from Shetland Reel: Lemon Fest. The spirit is the first from the company to feature lemon as the key botanical and, with a suggested serve of tonic and lemon peel, the gin provides the perfect post-dinner pairing for a freshly made lemon posset or cheesecake.

For the first time Shetland Reel has also developed a gift bundle for their Christmas special, offering a bottle of Lemon Fest and a sustainably made candle for just £44. The candles, which offer a refreshingly citrus scent to accompany the gin, were produced just a mile from Saxa Vord distillery in Unst by local producer Mella Handmade Soap.

Lemon Fest Bundles are available via the Shetland Reel website here.
