Crispy Sausage Rice

Crispy Sausage Rice

Ingredients

  • 400g Pork Sausages
  • 4 tsp Garlic Puree
  • 2 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Shetland Honey
  • 1 tbsp Siracha
  • 1 Onion
  • Mixed frozen veg - I used half a bag of stirfry veg and a handful of peas but anything you fancy could be used
  • 2 packets Microwave Rice (or use 400g home cooked rice)

Method

  1. Remove sausage meat from skins and break up into small pieces.
  2. Mix garlic, soy, honey and siracha.
  3. Fry sausage until crispy and golden brown. Add half the sauce and fry for a few minutes more until sticky.
  4. Remove from pan and set aside.
  5. Fry onion, then add veg. Stir fry until cooked.
  6. Add rest of the sauce, the cooked rice and then the sausage back in.
  7. Stir all together and serve with a dash more honey and some sesame seeds.
