Crispy Sausage Rice
Ingredients
- 400g Pork Sausages
- 4 tsp Garlic Puree
- 2 tbsp Light Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
- 2 tbsp Shetland Honey
- 1 tbsp Siracha
- 1 Onion
- Mixed frozen veg - I used half a bag of stirfry veg and a handful of peas but anything you fancy could be used
- 2 packets Microwave Rice (or use 400g home cooked rice)
Method
- Remove sausage meat from skins and break up into small pieces.
- Mix garlic, soy, honey and siracha.
- Fry sausage until crispy and golden brown. Add half the sauce and fry for a few minutes more until sticky.
- Remove from pan and set aside.
- Fry onion, then add veg. Stir fry until cooked.
- Add rest of the sauce, the cooked rice and then the sausage back in.
- Stir all together and serve with a dash more honey and some sesame seeds.
