Ingredients

DOUGH

  • 500g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 60g sugar
  • 30g butter
  • 7g dry yeast (1 sachet)
  • 200ml warm milk

FILLING

  • 300g ground walnuts
  • 100ml hot milk
  • Sugar according to taste
  • 3 drops rum aroma (dr. Oetker)
  • Raisins, Cinnamon (optional)

Method

  1. After mixing all the ingredients for dough leave it to rest at least for 30 min.
  2. Then divide it into 2 halves and roll it with a pin roll to half a cm so that it will fit into your backing tray after.
  3. Then spread the filling all over it evenly and roll it.
  4. Leave it to rest for at least 15 min and then bake it in the oven on 180 degrees C for 25-30 min.
  5. Cover it with baking paper to prevent burning, if your oven is strong.
