Pressure Cooker Mince

Ingredients

  • 500g Local Butcher Beef Mince
  • 1 large onion - chopped
  • 1 small neep - diced
  • 4 carrots - diced
  • 1 tsp onion granules
  • 2 beef stock cubes
  • Cornflour to thicken

Method

  1. Brown mince and add to pressure cooker.
  2. Add vegetables.
  3. Add onion granules and stock cubes.
  4. Add cold water to cover.
  5. Pressure cook for 20 mins.
  6. Do quick pressure release.
  7. Mix one teaspoon of cornflour with cold water and add to mince, turn pressure cooker to "sear" setting or similar to bring to the boil and thicken the sauce.
  8. If not thick enough, repeat step 7 until it reaches your preferred consistency.
  9. Serve with tatties and green veg!
