Join Shetland Wool Adventures for an unforgettable journey to discover Shetland and its unique textile heritage. The trips provide local knowledge and history as well as excellent learning opportunities in knitting from expert local tutors with knitting expertise written into their DNA as well as decades of experience!

You will also visit some of Shetland’s most scenic locations and sample delicious local produce. All in the name of artistic inspiration of course. Bespoke options are available for private groups.

Misa Hay has 15 years' experience in Shetland tourism and marketing and she was one of the founders and leaders of Shetland Wool Week. She also developed and edited the 60 North magazine and the Shetland Wool Week Annual.

She now produces another really beautiful publication, the Shetland Wool Adventures Journal. It is a celebration of Shetland, its textile heritage, food and much, much more. The Journal is quickly becoming a must-have collectors item for fans of Shetland knitwear the world over.
