Built in 1880 as the local village school and schoolhouse, Drumquin Guest House is owned and run by Robert and Leslie who have had it since 2010. They offer high quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation in cosy, modern, fully appointed rooms. Drumquin is an ideal base for exploring the wilds of the North Mainland, although it is conveniently close to a wide range of local amenities. There is a garden area and beautiful views across Busta Voe.
Evening meals are available to guests and they have more recently expanded into catering for outside events, including weddings. Whether you’re organising a family celebration or a sit down meal for 80, menus include thier own lamb and a wealth of other local produce, cooked to the highest standards.
Robert and Leslie also own Hensington Palace! A five-star chicken residence, where their cosseted ladies produce top quality free range eggs. The happy hens enjoy roaming the hills at Sullom. These fantastic eggs are available in many local shops as well as being available to Drumquin’s guests for a really great start to the day. Keep an eye out for them, you’ll never want to go back to supermarket eggs again.
