Although originally from Canada, Shetland has been Elizabeth’s home for more than 20 years, but you just never know when a new adventure might begin!
Elizabeth began her food blog as a hobby back in 2011, and it became so popular that in 2013, it became her full-time job. She creates delicious family recipes using as much local produce as she can. She likes to get creative with the contents of locally grown veg boxes, Shetland meat (especially local lamb) from some of Shetland’s brilliant craft butchers and only uses Shetland Dairies milk.
Visit her blog for a wealth of tasty recipes and inspiring stories of her travel adventures. She is a keen observer and always on the look out for new foodie experiences, wherever she roams. She also has a great Youtube channel where you can find brilliant bite-sized recipe videos as well as short wildlife films from her adventures closer to home.
She's frightfully camera shy, so whatever she’s making it’s the food that’ll be in the limelight!
Taste of Shetland did manage to coax her to this side of the camera in a brilliant short film she did for us on what we call Faerdie Maet in Shetland.
