Island Vista is a locally owned tour company that specialises in providing high-quality shore excursions and bespoke tours for private groups and individuals. Shetland has a wealth of heritage, natural beauty, art, music, and food and drink to offer. At 60° degrees North, Shetland lies at the crossroads of the Atlantic and the North Sea. It’s a unique destination; Scotland but with a distinctly Scandinavian flavour.
Owned and run by two local Scottish Tourist Guides Association (STGA) Green Badge Guides, Island Vista creates memorable excursions that showcase the best of what Shetland has to offer, including food and drink tours.
Many of their tours include a food and drink element, but there are also specialist tours dedicated to exploring and sampling Shetland’s finest produce. There is a Busta House Hotel Food and Drink tour, Frankie’s Fish and Chips tour, Lerwick Brewery tours and they are always happy to develop new and bespoke packages too.
Island Vista also run training courses for local tour guides who wish to gain accreditation.
