Fjara's new seasonal menu is brimming with Shetland produce.

Fjara cafe and bar is passionate about local produce. They have just launched some new lunch and dinner menus which are packed full of locally-produced treats such as:

  • Shetland mussels with garlic butter, shallots, parsley and cream
  • Northmavine white crab linguine with lime, ginger, garlic, chilli and parsley
  • Uradale Farm grilled Shetland sirloin steak with beer battered onion rings, Portobello mushroom, hand cut chunky chips and peppercorn sauce
  • Shetland organic lamb loin, fennel and lemon relish and minted creme fraiche in Khobez bread.

These are just a sample of the delicious dishes on offer. And, of course, their bar is stocked with Shetland beer, lager, gin and whisky too!

Managing Director, Jonathan Williamson, says:

"We are now in our in fourth year of trading and are busier than ever. It's fantastic to see so many customers actively seeking out Shetland produce. Fjara is proud to use as much of it as possible in our menus. We're looking forward to welcoming even more customers over the summer months.
