Busta House Hotel is a former Laird's house situated on the shores of Busta Voe, near the quiet village of Brae. Dating back to the 16th Century, Busta has a long and intriguing history.
Busta House Hotel was first opened as a hotel in the mid 1970s and has operated continually ever since. The hotel was taken over by Joel D’Eathe and Grant O’Neil in 2016. Both Joel and Grant have worked at Busta for a number of years, both starting by washing dishes at the weekends whilst being students and over the years have worked their way up through the departments.
Busta is a house full of history and character with the earliest parts of the house dating back to 1588 with some more modern parts added on in the mid 1700s. There are 22 rooms all with their own individual character. Evening meals are served in either the Lounge Bar or the Pitcairn Restaurant, with lunches also being served daily in the Lounge Bar. Tea, coffee and snacks are served all day.
