Method

  1. Mix the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar with your food processor or hand mixer.
  2. Add the eggs, one by one and mix together.
  3. Add the flour and mix it until it is a dough. When it is too dry, add a spoon of water.
  4. Make balls the size of a walnut and let the dough rest for one hour in the fridge..
  5. Heat the kniepertjes iron and put a little butter on it.
  6. Put a ball of dough in the middle and press the iron together. It will take about a minute, then the kniepertje will be brown.
  7. Remove with a spatula and cool on a rack.
  8. When they are cool, enjoy your kniepertjes.
