Bread and Banana Pudding
Ingredients
- Half a loaf of stale bread (any kind is fine, softies, rolls, anything!)
- 3 very ripe bananas
- 3 Shetland Eggs
- 500ml Shetland Milk
- 100g Caster Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Paste
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
For optional topping:
- Brown Sugar
- Cinnamon
Method
- Grease a baking tin and pre-heat oven to 170° C.
- Break up bread into a large bowl - doesn't need to be too small as it will be broken up more as we go.
- Mash bananas and combine with eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon.
- Pour over bread and leave to soak for 15 minutes.
- Mush up the mixture a bit more.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes.
Serve warm with ice cream!
