Sassermaet Wreath

Method

  1. Combine sassermaet, onion, breadcrumbs and mincemeat.
  2. Use puff pastry to make a large sausage roll with sassermaet mixture filling (use some beaten egg to seal edge).
  3. Make cuts about 1 inch apart along length of sausage roll - cuts should be about two thirds of way through.
  4. Make into circle and join ends.
  5. Twist each cut section to make it look pretty (see video!!)
  6. Brush with beaten egg and bake for 35-40 minutes at 200°C.
