Miso & Ginger Pot Roast

Method

  1. Get meat to room temperature and preheat oven to 160°C.
  2. Mix all ingredients (except beef) together.
  3. Cut beef in half and place both halves in a lidded, oven proof dish.
  4. Cover in the sauce.
  5. Cook for 3 hours at 160°C with lid on.
  6. Remove from oven and pull apart with tongs/forks. If it doesn't pull apart easily, return to the oven (with lid) for another 30 mins.
  7. Return meat to dish and mix with sauce.
  8. Finish in oven at 230°C for 15 minutes. Meat will be crispy in places with a tasty sticky sauce!
  9. Serve with rice and green veg or in a brioche bun with coleslaw.
