Fair Isle Bird Observatory is nestled above the Haven in the north-east of the island, it boasts fantastic views of Buness, Sheep Rock and Beyond.
The Observatory has existed in many forms since its conception in 1948 and its latest incarnation boasts ensuite rooms and an exceptional daily set menu that delights visitors and satisfies hardy birders who have been out in the elements all day.
Catering for up to 45 people the Observatory also hosts weddings, large group holidays, yachting and day visitors too. With freshly made bread, freshy caught fish and lobster common place on our menu.
