Buttermilk Pancakes
Ingredients
- 350g Self Raising Flour
- 1 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda
- 2 tbsp Caster Sugar
- 200ml Buttermilk
- 400ml Semi Skimmed Milk
- 2 Eggs
- 85g Melted Butter
Method
- Add dry ingredients to a bowl and mix
- Add eggs and melted buttter and whisk together
- Gradually add buttermilk, whisking in as you go
- Gradually add semi skimmed milk, whisking as you go
- Leave batter to rest while you heat pan
- Pour/Spoon batter onto pan and cook until bubbles form and burst, then flip over and give the same amount of time on other side
- Seve with your favourite toppings.
