Ingredients

  • 1 cup Reestit Mutton (boiled and shredded)
  • 1.5 Leeks (thinly shredded)
  • 4 Peeled Tatties
  • 2 Tablespoons Plain Flour
  • 1 Egg (beaten)
  • Shetland Butter/Oil to fry

Method

  1. Grate tatties and squeeze out moisture using a clean tea towel.
  2. Add mutton, leeks, beaten egg and flour and mix well.
  3. Melt butter/oil in pan.
  4. Add firmly sqeezed handfuls of rosti mix to pan and press down to fry.
  5. Fry for 5-10 minutes, turning regularly until golden and crispy.
