Reestit Rosti
Ingredients
- 1 cup Reestit Mutton (boiled and shredded)
- 1.5 Leeks (thinly shredded)
- 4 Peeled Tatties
- 2 Tablespoons Plain Flour
- 1 Egg (beaten)
- Shetland Butter/Oil to fry
Method
- Grate tatties and squeeze out moisture using a clean tea towel.
- Add mutton, leeks, beaten egg and flour and mix well.
- Melt butter/oil in pan.
- Add firmly sqeezed handfuls of rosti mix to pan and press down to fry.
- Fry for 5-10 minutes, turning regularly until golden and crispy.
